For this assignment, me and my partner were instructed to create a story using one or two inanimate objects. However, we could only use 15 shots to tell it.
I approached this project by using two key chains I had on my backpack: a lego spider man and a fox. I knew I wanted there to be some kind of rivalry, so me and my partner discussed different ways we could do this. We decided to make the fox a wanted bandit, and the Spiderman would be the one to bring justice. We shot all of the pictures in school and then took them home to color grade them. We took different tasks, one of us picked out the best shots that we took and organized them into the powerpoint, and the other color graded and edited them.
It was a little difficult to get our point across, considering the figures weren't very expressive, but with the right angle and shot, I think we did good with what we had. I like the story and think that we made the right choice picking it, but if I could have done something better, I think I should've been more conscious about the amount of shots I had because we could've utilized some of them in a better way. I also think some of the shots could've been taken in a better way and we were a little rushed when taking the pictures. If we organized our time better, I think that the outcome would have been even better. Overall however, I think we did pretty good.
